Does Wickes Have A Cutting Service?

When buying large sheets in the big stores it can be really handy to get them cut down for you. Some DIY stores offer this service and use really accurate cuts, meaning you can get your material exactly the size you need it, but does Wickes have a cutting service?

Does Wickes Have A Cutting Service?

No, as a storewide policy they do not offer a cutting service. There is no mention of a cutting service on their website and multiple shoppers have also stated that this service is not available at Wickes.

Who does offer a cutting service?

I know from personal experience that B&Q do offer a cutting service. Homebase also offer this service, I will go into more detail below.

B&Q Cutting Service

B&Q will cut sheet materials down for you in-store. This service is not available in all stores however and is limited to the bigger stores.

The nearest big store to me is more than happy to make lots of cuts for you for free but do start to charge past a certain point, think it was around twelve cuts off the top of my head. Turns out it is fifteen cuts for free and then 50p per cut after that.

How do you know if your store offers this service?

You can use the store locater on the B&Q website. Look at the store details, if it says timber cutting service then you can get your sheet materials cut down at this store.

Homebase Timber Cutting

I know this is a service that Homebase used to offer but looking on their website now it doesn’t look like they offer it anymore.

It was not listed under the in-store services I found here.
