T Stack and Pro Stack

Does Stanley Fatmax ProStack Work With DeWALT T Stack?

If you have ever looked at a Stanley Fatmax ProStack box and a DeWALT TStack box you will have no doubt noticed how eerily similar they appear. Couple this with the fact that Stanley owns DeWALT and you will start to wonder if they are just the same thing re-branded. Join me as I spiral down this rabbit hole and find out if they do in fact work together.

So do they work together?

Yes, they do. The boxes fit together perfectly and lock together. To my eye at least they are the exact same product but just with different branding.

Trying the boxes together

So why am I so confident in my answer above, well the simple answer is that I tested them. I happen to have both a Stanley Fatmax Pro-Stack box and a DeWALT T-Stack box.

So I stuck the two together and had a look at what happened. In all honesty, they went together really easily and are obviously the same product when you get up close and personal with them, minus the branding obviously.

You can see above that the boxes lock together just fine, no problems here at all.

You can also see in the photo below how both of the boxes use the exact same metal latches.

Just to de doubly sure they work together I swapped the order round and put the Stanley Fatmax box on top of the DeWALT one. As expected there were no issues at all.

and then to be triple sure I put some weight in the boxes and lifted them up. This shows that the boxes are properly connected together and are not going to fall apart.
