Flashing Green Light
This means that the battery is charging and it is not fully charged yet. Unlike some other tools, the charger does not have a light to indicate what percentage the battery is charged.
It tells you that it is charging or if it is full, but never how full it is.
Solid Green Light
When the light stops flashing and instead turns solid green then the battery is 100% charged. It can be removed and used in your V20 tools.
Red Light
If you see a red light then that means there is an error with your battery or the charger itself.
The most common error is temperature. This can either be too hot or too cold and it should be fairly simple to work out which one is the problem.
Is the batter hot to the touch? Then it has over heated, remove it from the charger and allow it to cool before trying to charge it again.
If the room you are in is really cold, 5 degrees celsius or below then the battery might be too cold. Try and warm it up or move to a warmer room before attempting to charge it.
If the temperature is not the issue then there might be a problem with the batter or the charger. The easiest way to work out with which one the problem lies is to try another battery on the charger or try the battery in another charger if you have a spare to hand.
