Hikoki Charger Lights Meaning

What Do The Lights On A Hikoki Charger Mean

Hey DIYers! Have you ever looked at your Hikoki charger and thought to yourself, “there’s only one light, how can it mean so many different things?!” Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. It can be a bit confusing at first, but once you understand what each light indicates, you’ll be a pro at using your charger in no time.

First, let’s start with the basics. A flashing red light with no battery inserted in the charger means that the charger is turned on and ready to have a battery inserted.

When the charger is charging a battery the red light will turn solid. It will stay solid the entire time it is charging the battery.

When the light begins to flash quickly, but with a battery in it this time then this means your battery is fully charged.

If the light flashes, but slowly, and when you first insert the battery then this means there is a temperature issue with the battery.

It is either too hot or too cold to charge and the battery will not be charging. It should be easy to work out the problem by feeling the battery and either allowing it to cool down or trying and move it somewhere to warm up.
